Yes, the Federal Aviation Administration sets the rules and regulations that every commercial drone pilot must follow. This isn't a comprehensive list, but a few rules that are often ignored:1. If you are flying to make money, or promote your business or someone else's business to make money, you must hold a remote pilot airman certificate.( you must be at least 16 years old to get this) If you aren't certified by the FAA, you can't make any money or trade services for drone services.2. You can't fly over people who aren't involved in the drone flight. 3. You can't fly 30 minutes after official sunset to 30 minutes before official sun rise.4. You must keep the drone within line of sight5. You must fly under 400 feet above ground level, or, if flying at an altitude height than 400 feet AGL, stay within 400 feet of a structure. 6. You must yield the right of way to manned aircraft7. You must fly at or below 100 mile per hour.8. There are certain airspace restrictions that you must also follow. This means, depending on where you want the aerial shoot to take place, we may need to request a waiver from the FAA. The FAA can take up to 90 days to approved or denied a waiver request.
